Okay folks I am interested if anyone has heard of a wonderful organizer called Pronto? It's slick people! The company is Baum and they are located in Germany. Here are a few things you can do with this baby you can't with your rusty Brail notes, or pathmate.. hahaha.
1. MSN on the road. I mean on the road too.
2. Notes, voice recorder.
3. Listen to your MP3's connect it to your mobile phone and call or get info, or download things.
4. Has a brail display and voice too.
5. One button starts the show.
6 Has card memory slots so you can pump it up and take you talking book collection with you.
7. Maybe you actually study at college, and take notes, and have your text books with you, so load it all on Pronto.
It does all this connected to your belt, or on a shoulder strap, so you can use it, did I say on the road? Yeah baby. You can get on the zone while you walk, and it has a brail display. It's like a PDA for the blind with brail and speech. Smooth.
Okay I'm not making any money, so here's the website. http//www.baum.de The sites in german, so so if you can't hang, and some of you can, you scroll down and choose your language and you get info on their products. I clicked on products, then I click on organizers and who! A friend of mind showed this beast to me. She lives in Finland, and is blind, so not a sales rep, but a user. I am as you can tell impressed, so wanted to pass this info along. I don't know yet if you can get one were you live, but if you like it why not try.
She showed me if it's clipped to your belt, or on the strap it won't fall, so you can walk, cook, run, or whatever with it. The case is like a cameras case, so almost indestructible. She had it out in the rain folks. Lol.
Brail note,Pathmate, eat dust.

Tell me something.

Take a look at the braille note PK, one and the same device with slightly different software. PDH has been using the PRonto for their PK since 2004.

Wow that thing sounds kind of cool but I still like my Braille Note above all! Welll...I'd like it even more if the USB port wasn't broken....but yeah!

He was wrong. I have seen this. He says I am naiive and silly. Oh sure! I trusted him. So yes I am all that. But Pronto is very good product anyway

My appology post or my telling of the truth is not posted here, so how did it get removed? I am getting slammed and I can't defend myself. I never posted such bad things and no matter what I still like the lady Johanna. I will do my best to defend myself in this matter.
